Racing Enthusiast Drives Home 2017 Ford Shelby® GT 350R

All hearts were racing when our customer, Mr. Richard Bauer, took delivery this week of his 2017 Ford Shelby® GT 350R off the showroom floor. Special thanks to Sales Professional Chris Peterpaul and Sales Manager David Hayes for handling the details needed to deliver this beautiful feat of automotive engineering to an individual who can truly appreciate its qualities. He said he especially appreciated the 6-speed stick shift over the paddle shifters. “The stick just makes it feel like you are more an extension of the car.”

“I’m telling you, Ford took a Ferrari engine, studied it, and then improved on it to create the engine in this new Ford Shelby® GT 350 R, “ said Mr. Bauer who is a Dallas amateur race car driver and enthusiastic collector of performance cars. “I can’t wait to take this one to the track and show it side by side with the Ferrari!” Although sporting a cap with the Ferrari trademark stallion, Bauer chuckled and said, “I’m calling this cap my ‘angry’ Mustang.”
