Planet Ford Dallas Partners with Canine Companions

Super excited to announce that Planet Ford Dallas Love Field is sponsoring a highly trained service dog for a military Veteran with a disability! We have partnered with Randall Reed's Light Up To Live Foundation in Dallas, TX and Canine Companions in Irving, Texas to make this happen.  The announcement was made at our annual employee holiday party on Thursday, Dec. 7. Our special guests that day included Canine Companions Development Director, Laura Manning, Jason Morgan (USAF, Ret.) and his dog Yago. They were joined by puppy raiser Cathy Kirkpatrick and her pup in training, Poppins. 

Our team were happy to meet these folks and see some of the hard work we all do result in good deeds in our local community. Planet Ford's Managing Partner Jeff Enright (celebrating his 25th work anniversary this month!) told the entire team that he is proud of each one of them and the way they work together to make the store successful.  He mentioned how difficult it is to achieve the awards that we achieved in 2023 including: The Ford Presidents Award, The Ford Premier Club and the Ford Triple Crown.  We also were named a J.D. Power Dealer of Excellence in the Customer Expereince for the 6th time. Together, these awards place us in the rare air of the top 1% of best performing Ford stores in the United States. 

The service dog that is being funded by Planet Ford Dallas will be matched with a veteran in the first quarter of 2024. We hope to share more about their journey together in the coming months.
